PAIKKA Creative Cohort 2026 - December 20

Call for artists and community organizers! PAIKKA is opening its doors for fresh programming and invites artists, designers, and community engagement organizers to share their ideas. We’re looking for workshops, installations, or gatherings that bring people together and make creative use of the space in the winter and spring of 2026!

Programs must take place between January and April 2026 and can be as small as a one-day pop-up or span multiple days (recurring or one-time events). Think broadly – your proposal could be a gallery installation, a sound bath, a Pilates or yoga class, a pop-up gallery, a Dungeons and Dragons play night, a rehearsal or performance space, a creative writing circle, a neighborhood forum, or something entirely new.

To keep this opportunity accessible, we’re offering multiple ways to book the space:

  1. Host your event through ticket sales, with proceeds covering venue use.
  2. Or reserve the space at steeply discounted rates, created specifically to support community projects and creative experiments.

Space at PAIKKA usually ranges from $200-$350 per hour, but for this limited series, we are offering the space from $30-$150 per hour and providing support in marketing! This is a chance to test new ideas, connect with audiences, and activate a unique venue.

PAIKKA will review applications submitted from September to December 2025 and announce the accepted projects in mid-December. We look forward to connecting this new cohort of creators!

Your artistic practice deserves a home. PAIKKA’s artist projects will create a regular rhythm of connection, offering both stage and support for those doing meaningful work – in the depth of winter when we could all use a little less loneliness.
