Introduction to Ballet at Jewish Community Center in St. Louis Park

Did you ever want to take ballet or be a ballerina? Did you use to take ballet but it has been a while? Did you know it is never too late to start or to go back to the barre?

This class is designed for people who have never had a ballet class, dancers who haven’t had a ballet class in years and need to review, and dancers who really want to understand and improve ballet technique.

This class will teach basic beginning ballet steps, positions, and technique. It will help you build strength in muscles you didn’t even know you had, improve your balance, make you think, and work your body in a way that prevents injury and protects your joints. So if you are looking to improve your ballet technique, build strength, work on your balance and help your brain, or if you just love ballet—join us!
