DanceMN is a platform for connection, communication, and a free resource for all interested in dance, engaging dancers (hobbyists to professionals), choreographers, students, teachers, audience – and all curious – to access dance opportunities in MN.

Our leading values are to: 1) maintain free services; 2) be inclusive of all dance content; 3) serve the whole community.
Our leading goals are 1) streamlining our website and expanding our social media presence; 2) expanding connections with communities beyond the Twin Cities metro and dance aesthetics outside of the Western canon.
Committee Member Responsibilities Include:
- Committee members are asked to serve a minimum 2-year term.
- Committee members are asked to join at least one sub-committee: Engagement (public-facing outreach), Recruitment and Hiring (internal focus Committee members and Contractors), Finance and Fundraising, Website, and/or Marketing.
- The committee meets virtually every 6-8 weeks for 90-120 minutes, depending on the length of action items.
- Steering Committee members are asked to attend the majority of meetings and to communicate ideas and feedback via email when not present.
