Threads Dance Nexus is a community hub that not only provides a home for Threads Dance Project but also strengthens the social fabric of our Minneapolis community through the unifying power of dance.

Our space includes:
1,480 square feet (37′ x 40′).
A professional-grade speaker sound system.
Barres, mirrors, and sprung floors.
Two ADA-compliant, gender-neutral changing rooms.
Large windows and a garage door, allowing for an abundance of natural light and fresh air.

Conveniently located in the Seward neighborhood, we offer free parking and free side street parking. We are a five-minute walk from the Franklin light rail station and a 2-5 minute walk from the nearest bus stops (lines 2, 9, 22, and 67).

Welcome to Sunna, a wellness studio committed to your radiance through grounding and restoring, energizing and strengthening, group and individual, and mind and body practices. We specialize in Pilates, Yoga, GYROKINESIS®, and Barre class formats, with an emphasis on alignment, healing, integration, and functional movement. We foster a welcoming environment for those based in the neighborhood as well as those traveling longer distances or passing through the Twin Cities.

Featuring a wide array of knowledgeable instructors, including local dance artists Berit Ahlgren, Eva Mohn, Genevieve Waterbury, Nic Lincoln, Non Edwards, and Sarah McCullough.

We offer discounts for full-time artists, students, and seniors. Plus all of our weekday noon classes are sliding scale, including Empowered Body (Mindful HIIT), Vinyasa Yoga, Empowered Dance, gaga/people, and Pilates Jumpboard Reformer. Please visit our website to find out more!

Located in the heart of the Lyn-Lake community, The Arena is available for your rehearsal, class, and event needs! High availability Monday-Friday during daytime hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our Space Offers:
1,305 square feet (30×40) of sprung, Marley dance flooring.
Wall-length mirrors with curtains.
Changing room.
Access to multiple bus lines, including the 21, 4, 23, 612, and 18.

Hourly rates range from $17-$25, with discounts/special offerings available to BIPOC and LGBTQIA2+ communities. Inquire for savings.

Three beautiful studios are available for hourly, short-term, or long-term rental in Hopkins. Perfect for dance/exercise classes, photo shoots, filming, rehearsals, and more!

Studio 1: 17′ x 42′

Sound system and Wi-Fi are available.

TU Dance Center is available for rental when not in use by TU Dance’s programming. TU Dance Center features a reception area and front desk for check-in or event use. Access to the adjacent dressing room and green room with kitchenette are available upon request.

Sprung dance floor with Marley-type surface by Harlequin

Portable ballet barre units 10′ in length
Room-level sound system with CD and mini-jack inputs

Studio 1 only: A curtain that can be drawn on the entire mirror and wall-mounted ballet barres of 27′ and 33′.

Young Dance has two large studios available for rent in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. The space is easily accessible by the Green Line light rail, the 16 and 67 Bus Lines, and has ample parking in the Fairview Business Center parking lot. It is fully ADA accessible, with ramps to the sprung studio floor and automatic door openers. 

Rentals are currently available:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Friday, 8:00am-8:00pm
Saturday, 3:00-9:00pm
Sunday, 8:00am-5:00pm

The studios are newly equipped with sprung Harlequin Marley flooring, a Bluetooth speaker system, and wifi. A projector with AV adapters is available by request. Studio 2 has ballet barres and a mirror. The studio has a clear COVID safety plan, including regular disinfecting of all floors and surfaces and a new HVAC system that refreshes the air 7-8 times per hour.

Studio 1: Measures 41′ x 38′ and rents at $25/hour
Studio 2: Measures 38′ x 38′ and rents at $20/hour

The Sabathani Community Center in South Minneapolis has a dance studio available for hourly rental. The building includes security and free parking. The studio space includes mirrors, ballet barres, and hardwood floors.

Need space to rehearse, choreograph, teach, or hold an event? Collide Theatrical has two studios available for rental in our beautiful St. Paul location. Evening and weekend availability!

Studio 1 has 1200 square feet of sprung floor, full wall-length mirrors, Rosco Adagio Marley dance floor, high ceilings, skylights, and 3 chandeliers.
Studio 2 has 450 square feet of sprung wood floor.  

Both studios have the following amenities:
Ballet barres for up to 18 students 
Free and accessible parking and access to public transportation line
Gender-specific bathrooms (non-gender specific bathroom available in the adjacent building)

Nonprofit groups of 1-10: $25/hour for rehearsals

Studio 2 Rental Rates
Individual artists: $18/hour
Nonprofit organizations: $22/hour for rehearsals
Other rental inquiries start at $25/hour.

Street shoes on dance floors are strictly forbidden. Dance sneakers (not worn outdoors) are fine in the small studio only.

New rental requests must be made at least 72 hours prior to your requested time. Payment for rental bookings must be made 48 hours prior to your booking to hold your reservation. A signed rental agreement and certificate of insurance must be provided prior to your reservation. Please contact us at rentals@collidetheatrical.org to schedule a visit.

Come create at Ballet Co.Laboratory. Our artistic home is available for hourly rentals to independent artists and arts organizations. We have five studios at Ballet Co.Laboratory with sprung floors, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and barres, plus four gender-neutral restrooms, changing rooms, and comfortable lobby space with Wi-fi access and ample seating. The entire facility is HVAC heated and cooled.
