Services and Special Offers for Dancers

Need space to rehearse, choreograph, teach, or hold an event? Collide Theatrical has two studios available for rental in our beautiful St. Paul location. Evening and weekend availability!

Studio 1 has 1200 square feet of sprung floor, full wall-length mirrors, Rosco Adagio Marley dance floor, high ceilings, skylights, and three chandeliers. Rental Fees: $25/hour for rehearsals by nonprofit groups of 1-10. Other rental inquiries are subject to our event rate, starting at $30/hour. Please contact us for more information.

Studio 2 has 450 square feet of sprung wood floor. Rental Fees: $18/hour for individual artists, $22/hour for nonprofit organization rehearsals, and other rental inquiries start at $25/hour.

Both studios have the following amenities:
Ballet barres for up to 18 students
Free and accessible parking and access to public transportation line
Gender-specific bathrooms (non-gender-specific bathroom available in the adjacent building)
Free Wi-Fi and Bluetooth room speakers
Two folding tables and access to up to 30 chairs
Microwave, small refrigerator, and hallway drinking fountains
HVAC heated and cooled spaces with temperature control

Street shoes on dance floors are strictly forbidden. Dance sneakers (not worn outdoors) are fine in the small studio only.

New rental requests must be made at least 72 hours prior to your requested time. Payment for rental bookings must be made 48 hours prior to your booking to hold your reservation. A signed rental agreement and certificate of insurance must be provided prior to your reservation. Please contact us at rentals@collidetheatrical.org to schedule a tour.

Come create at Ballet Co.Laboratory. Our artistic home is available for hourly rentals to independent artists and arts organizations. Book a single day to work on your artistry, secure a month to rehearse a show, or facilitate your weekly programming here – the choice is yours! We look forward to collaborating with you on your space needs.

Hours: Morning, daytime, and evening hours are available.
Free Parking: Available in front of the studio.
Public Transportation: The studio is accessible via the Green Line into downtown Saint Paul and the 71A or 71B bus.

Facility: We have five studios at Ballet Co.Laboratory with sprung floors, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and barres, plus four gender-neutral restrooms, changing rooms, and comfortable lobby space with Wi-fi access and ample seating. The entire facility is HVAC heated and cooled.

Located in the heart of the Lyn-Lake community, The Arena is available for your rehearsal, class, and event needs!

Our Space Offers:

Young Dance has two large studios available for rent in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul. The space is easily accessible by the Green Line light rail, 16 and 67 bus lines, and has ample parking in the Fairview Business Center parking lot. It is fully ADA accessible, with ramps to the sprung studio floor and automatic door openers.

The studios are newly equipped with sprung Harlequin Marley flooring, a Bluetooth speaker system, and Wifi. A projector with AV adapters is available by request. Studio 2 has ballet barres and a mirror. The studios are regularly disinfected (all floors and surfaces) and include an HVAC system that refreshes the air 7-8 times per hour.

Center for Performing Arts Dance Studios

Sunroom: 22’ x 50’

Stained glass windows, 1930s pendant lights, sprung maple dance floor, mirrors, original woodwork including small raised stage. Quiet and private. Bluetooth audio. Not ADA accessible.

105w: 36’ x 43’
For rehearsal, workshop or performance. 1550 square foot flexible space, sprung maple floor, with grid. Open window overlooking 38th Street. ADA accessible, 5 preset lighting options, custom theatrical lighting using LED and conventional incandescent fixtures. Audio playback. Customizable audience seating configurations.

112w Black Box: 36’ x 51’
1840 square foot open performance space with sprung dance floor. Marley option. Flexible seating, tech controls, and playing area. ADA accessible, 5 preset lighting options, custom theatrical lighting, LED and conventional incandescent fixtures. Audio playback. Audience seating customizable.

205w: 24 x 36’
Workshop, meeting, and rehearsal studio. Open space includes large window facing 38th Street, ethernet port, flexible tables, and chairs options. Bluetooth audio. Floor is not sprung. ADA accessible.

305w: 34’ x 36’
Beautiful open rehearsal and teaching/workshop studio. Studio includes large window facing 38th Street, ethernet port for live-streaming, flexible tables, chairs, and storage options. Bluetooth audio. Floor is not sprung. ADA accessible.

405w: 34’ x 36’
1,225 square foot studio including sound system with iPod hookup, Wifi, sprung Marley floors, large windows with expansive south-facing views, new HVAC system with high quality air filtration.

Ample bike parking. Access to multiple bus lines, including the 23, 4, and 18. Discount rate for artists and non-profit groups. Requests can be made here.

The Sabathani Community Center in South Minneapolis has a dance studio available for hourly rental. The building includes security and free parking. The studio space includes mirrors, ballet barres, and hardwood floors.

TU Dance Center is available for rental when not in use by TU Dance’s programming. TU Dance Center features a reception area and front desk for check-in or event use. Access to the adjacent dressing room and green room with a kitchenette is available upon request.

Threads Dance Nexus is a community hub that not only provides a home for Threads Dance Project but also strengthens the social fabric of our Minneapolis community through the unifying power of dance.

If you’re renting space through Threads, please be aware that there is an additional 10% charge above the regular base rate for renters who charge fees during their rental.

Located in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis, rent Zorongo Flamenco’s studio for classes, private rehearsals, events, and more! Our space is available to book in consecutive 30-minute periods when not in use by the Zorongo Flamenco school.
